Free to good home

42 x Cilest tabs

30 x 50mg/1ml ampoules Gestone

9 x 5ml vials Heparin (25,000iu in 5ml)

2 x 10g bottles Suprecur containing 15mg Buserelin

54 x 1.5g Ametop gel tubes + 94 dressings

84 x 2mg Estrofem tabs

17 x Cyclogest 400mg

30 x folic acid 5mg

If you want any of the above, email me your address and I'll send them on.

So, yes, I have finished most of my meds. Will be staying on aspirin and Naltrexone but it's bye bye to my lumpy, bruised and battered belly. Will be holding my breath for a while, probably (hopefully) for the next six months.

Glad to hear you're ready to get rid of stuff. I will happily take the folic acid if that's ok with you.

No problem Thalia - if you email your address to 2weekwait at gmail dot com I'll send it on.

Tiredmam - still nauseous but keeping very well, hope you are too.

Wow -- they pulled you off the Heparin? You lucky, lucky lady.

I am on it until 36 weeks, assuming we get that far. It is a challenge finding non-bruised spots to inject.

Feebee, to answer your questions you asked on the last post...All of my losses have been Chromosomal errors, Trisomy to be exact (21, 21, 16, 15 and my first mc at age 30 was a blighted ovum) I have seen a genetic counselor after the third loss and she said everything points to bad luck and bad eggs (she did not use those exact words) but in a nut shell that is what she said. I have never had an issue getting pregnant, in fact I seem to be very fertile. I had my son after my 1st MC and it was a perfect pregnancy ..I was 33 when he was born. I started trying again around 35 and have had four in a row. I am now 38. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh I had my fsh tested and it was 5.6!! I don't know what to think anymore, but I do know that genetic errors are due to bad eggs around the time of ovulation..not at time of conception and trisomy typically points to the Egg not the sperm.

MissedConceptions - I am glad to see the back of the Heparin (had totally run out of space to inject) but shit scared as well. I had a blood test done for APS beforehand and it was normal so I suppose I should relax a bit.

Denise - it does sound like you have been very unlucky. It's interesting that you say it's down to problems at ovulation - have you thought about taking Clomid to improve the quality of ovulation? That's what I did this time, even though I haven't had problems ovulating. I just thought that it might give my egg and my hormones a better chance.

Thanks E!

Hi Feebee,

You know I was thinking the same. I never realized that it is during ovulation that things can go wrong with the quality. Now I am an idiot when it comes to all these medications...is clomid injected or taken oraly? and when did you start taking clomid, meaning this current pregnancy or you have used it on all? Appreciate your input.

Denise - sorry, missed your comment until now. Clomid is taken for 5 days at the start of your cycle - days 2-6 or 3-7 or even as late as 5-9. It is most commonly prescribed for those who do not ovulate at all but is also prescribed for those who have hormone imbalances, to improve the quality of ovulation and balance hormones. It has also had some success with women with high FSH, giving them a better quality of ovulation. The better the quality of ovulation, the better the chance that an adequate amount of hormones will be produced that will support implantation and beyond.

This was the first cycle I'd taken Clomid in about 2 years. Because I'd been on so many drugs for IUI and IVF, I hadn't needed it but when I started conceiving naturally again this summer, I decided to give Clomid a go.

The only danger with it is that you may produce multiple eggs so it's worth having an ultrasound around day 10 of your cycle to make sure you don't have 10 dominant follicles! No chance in my case (only the one follicle) but at least we knew what we were dealing with.
